近日，印度知名英文国际时事主播、资深记者帕尔基·夏尔马，在其评论栏目《Palki Sharma Show》中说道，越来越多世界各地的人开始学习普通话，学习普通话正在成为一种趋势。

Recently, renowned Indian English-language global affairs journalist and anchor Palki Sharma stated on her commentary show Palki Sharma Show that people across the globe are increasingly taking up Mandarin, and learning Mandarinhas become a growing trend.

如今，在贵州也有一批外国朋友，通过一口流利的普通话，与当地人沟通，并成为这片土地的 “新家人”，用亲身经历向世界讲述贵州故事，搭建中外文化交流的桥梁。

Here in Guizhou, there is a group of international friends. Fluent in Mandarin, they communicate with local residents and have become "new family members" of this land. With their personal experiences, they tell Guizhou’s stories to the world and build bridges for cultural exchanges between China and other countries.

“我喜欢中文的一笔一画。”范氏星来自越南太原大学，现在是贵州师范大学的留学生。从小，她就觉得中文很美妙，喜欢看中文电影和听中文歌曲。她希望学成归国后，不仅能够继续中文教学工作，还能成为中越两国文化交流的“大使”。 

“I love every stroke of Chinese characters.” Pham Thi Sao is from Thai Nguyen University in Vietnam and currently an international student at Guizhou Normal University. Ever since she was little, she has found Chinese fascinating. She enjoys watching Chinese films and listening to Chinese songs. She hopes that after completing her studies and returning home, she can not only keep teaching Chinese but also serve as an“ambassador”for cultural exchanges between China and Vietnam.

“横竖都是世界第一”的花江峡谷大桥通车时，德国自媒体人罗伯特·阿道夫第一时间到现场体验，他用镜头记录大桥雄姿，向海外网友讲述贵州 “万桥飞架” 的故事。他把贵州视作“第二故乡”，在这里成长、生活，亲眼见证贵州日新月异的发展，也用镜头记录黔地山水、人文风情，向海外受众分享真实、鲜活的多彩贵州。

When the Huajiang Canyon Bridge opened to traffic, German social media influencer Robert Adolf rushed to the site for an on-site experience. He captured the grandeur of the bridge with his camera and told overseas netizens the story of Guizhou’s history of bridge-buidling. He regards Guizhou as his“second hometown”. With his lens, he documents the landscapes and culture of Guizhou, sharing an authentic and vivid image of colorful Guizhou with global audiences.

“文明没有优劣之分，只有多彩之别。”贵州大学英国籍教师大卫·吉里来自一个文化多元的家庭，父亲是爱尔兰人、母亲是瑞士人，自己则从小在贵州长大。他不仅能说一口流利的普通话，还会讲非常地道的贵州方言。在他看来，不同国家有着不一样的发展情况与文化底色，彼此尊重，方能看见更丰富的世界。 

“Civilizations are neither superior nor inferior; they are only diverse.”David Geary, a British teacher at Guizhou University, comes from a culturally diverse family. His father is Irish and his mother is Swiss. He grew up right here in Guizhou. In his view, every country has its own development trajectory and cultural identity. Mutual respect allows us to see a richer world.

当下，学习普通话正在成为文明交流互鉴浪潮中，跨越语言隔阂的重要纽带，成为越来越多国际友人了解中国、走近中国的一扇窗口。正如帕尔基·夏尔马所说：“选择学习哪种语言，往往预示着未来的他们选择在哪里。”

Today, learningMandarinserves as a vital link to bridge linguistic barriers amid the wave of exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. It is also a window for more and more international friends to understand and get close to China. As Palki Sharma put it:“The language you choose to learn often hints at where you choose to belong in the future.”
